• The pet's rabies vaccine is up to date (as required by law) unless otherwise discussed. We also recommend keeping the other vaccines up to date.

• Nail trimming and ear cleaning are part of the service unless the process is too stressful for the pet. If the ears are infected we will refer you for veterinary treatment.

• We do offer anal gland expression on request, however if there are any issues we will refer you to your veterinarian who will express them internally. 

• Shaving matted pets may expose pre-existing health\skin problems for which Shari Wilder Posh Paws cannot be held liable. Often the mats pull on the skin causing redness and/or sores which may be difficult to see until the hair is shaved. This is why having your pet on a regular grooming schedule is so important.

Cancellations

• Cancellation and rescheduling of an appointment, by the client, requires 48 hours notice to waive the appointment fee.

• In the event of inclimate weather, a family emergency or any other uncontrollable circumstance, the groomer has the discretion to waive the fee within the 48 hour period.

• Payment is to be made at the time of service. Payment is accepted in form of cash, check, credit card, Venmo, or Paypal. Returned checks will incur a $35 charge. Our rates are based on the pet's breed and the groom's duration.
